Step 1: Fill In the Input Sections
Buying Section:
Home Price [₹]: The total price of the home you're interested in.
Down Payment [₹]: The upfront money you'll pay towards the house purchase.
Loan Interest Rate p.a (%): The yearly interest percentage charged on your mortgage.
Loan Term (Years): Length of time to repay the mortgage in full (e.g., 15, 30 years).
Brokerage/Commission (%) The percentage fee charged by a real estate agent.
Property Tax per year (%): The annual percentage of the home's value you pay in taxes.
Property tax per year Increase (%): Expected annual percentage increase in property taxes.
Home Insurance Per year (₹): The annual cost of insuring the home.
Maintenance cost per year(₹): The yearly cost for repairs and upkeep.
Renting Section
Monthly rental fee (₹): Your monthly rent payment.
Rental fee increase per year (%): The expected yearly percentage increase in rent.
Security Deposit (₹): Refundable money given to the landlord upfront.
Brokerage/Commission (₹): Fee if you use a real estate agent to find the rental.
Additional Sections
Expected Return on Investment (%): Estimated yearly return if you were to invest your down payment elsewhere.
Total Period of Rent/Buy (years): How long you plan to stay in the home or apartment.
